I have been breeding Munchkins since 1999. I have built my breeding program from one male and female to the beautiful foundation stock I now have. I still have the original pair. The male still breeds, but I have retired the female to rest, as she has been very good to me. I try to better my cattery by bringing in an occasional outside registered male or female to bring in new blood. I only breed Munchkins and Napoleons so my lines are long and with good show numbers. I also have had champions in TICA shows for 3 years running. This year I had 3 champions. I have learned that staying a small cattery has many benefits. It is healthier for the animals and less stress on the breeder. The kittens are better socialized also.
