Our Abyssinian Breeding Program

New cattery that grew out of pet therapy program. Abys are raised un-crated and underfoot and "undercovers" (in bed) with constant attention. Emphasis is on health and personality and companion qualities with secondary concern for standard conformity. Foundation ruddy couple have 50 or more champion and grand champion ancestors each. Principal owner previously bred and showed Siamese. May bring some of these cats to show.

Health Testing and Guarantees

Breeding cats have been tested for commnicable disease, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea free, and kittens before release are not tested but vaccinated before placed with buyers and may be micro-chipped and neutered. They are fed hypoallergenic foods such as Chicken Soup for the Kitten Lovers' Soul with multiple protein sources and were not subject to any suspect foods involved in the recall. Buyers can have kittens examined by their vets to confirm health and should any develop a hereditary disease they can be replaced.

Requirements For Abyssinian Kitten Buyers

Looking for buyers who love and respect these independent beings and are prepared for endless curiosity and insatiable affection and playfulness. These are not landscape or decor pieces but companions in adventure. Buyers are screened for conditions that might pose threats to health and happiness of the kittens—unstable living circumstances, dogs and people/children not tolerant of cats because of temperament or allergies, smoking, inability to keep indoors or to be with kitten in the home, experience in caring for kittens

I offer post sale support and want to stay in touch with kitten buyers and will help in rehoming kittens if the new owners are unable to fulfill their commitment.
